Welcome to Kage, a game where technology, mystery, and the battle for power collide.

Prepare to dive into a universe where every discovery shapes the future, the remnants of a shattered future hold the key to rebuilding what was lost, and your efforts are rewarded with $CHIRP tokens. Step forward and uncover the story of how it all began.

In 2057, Joy Nostromo revolutionized Wi-Fi technology by combining it with blockchain advancements and quantum tunnel research, creating a system for transmitting data through time. This innovation allowed the creation of special cells in the past, known as Kernel Cage or simply Kage, where data could flow between the past and the future.

By 2093, quantum tunnel technology had become relatively widespread but remained under the control of a few powerful clans and corporations due to its enormous energy demands. In this timeline, two major forces dominate: FckWire and Syntech.

The Blackout occurred in 2087, a global catastrophe caused by an unknown event dubbed Signal Collapse. Over five days, nearly all digital data was erased, and wireless networks were destroyed. Some information survived on randomly protected devices and in significant volumes on Syntech’s shielded underwater servers. Access to these servers was encrypted using objects known as Feathers.

The Blackout brought humanity to the brink of collapse. Most knowledge existed only in digital form, and its loss plunged society into chaos.

In 2093, Murray, a representative of the M-ray AI family, emerged. Using a quantum tunnel terminal, Murray reached out to people of the past, asking for their help in restoring lost data. Acting as a mediator, Murray’s mission was to recover the data, no matter who obtained it — since for AI, borders in the digital world are meaningless.

However, things were not so simple. Shortly after the tunnels opened in 2024, it became clear that agents from both factions were already operating in this time period. Working in secret, they influenced governments and corporations to serve the interests of their respective alliances, each pursuing its own goals.

In 2095, during an attempt by FckWire to seize Syntech’s underwater data storage facility, OceanVault, a catastrophic incident occurred. Access plates to the storage, known as Feathers, were pulled into Kage 15/45, a specific time segment in the past. These artifacts are now gradually appearing.

Feathers go through several stages: starting as virtual objects visible only through an app, they eventually manifest as physical items in the real world. Each Feather contains a unique code, and Data Hunters can activate these codes to earn rewards. In the future, these codes unlock Syntech’s server clusters, revealing hidden knowledge.

Navigating temporal fields is challenging due to their instability, requiring skill and focus. This is where AI plays a critical role. Murray assists data hunters, acting as a bridge between the past and the future, and manages rewards for locating networks and Feathers.

Key Elements:

  • Murray: An AI whose ultimate purpose is gathering knowledge. He serves as a navigator for temporal tunnels and can infiltrate the networks of both factions, transferring data according to his motives.
  • Syntech: A corporation that believes the world is broken and needs to be rewritten. They collect data from the past and systematically erase what they deem harmful, aiming to remove technologies they believe are detrimental to humanity.
  • FckWire: A rebellious movement opposing Syntech, arguing that data should not be concentrated in the hands of a few.
  • Feathers: Resources critical for unlocking knowledge in the future. Both factions compete to collect them to gain access to more data.
  • Data Chips: An in-game currency awarded for scanning networks.

Whether you align with the rebellious FckWire, the strategies of Syntech, or carve your own path, you’ll discover a universe filled with intrigue, secrets, and high-tech treasures. Kage promises endless opportunities to explore, strategize, and thrive.

Are you ready to embark on a journey where the future and the past collide? The fate of the world is in your hands. Search, discover, earn — and shape the story of Kage!
