New Firmware for Blackbird Miners
Our latest Blackbird miner firmware release, v1.1.3, has brought significant improvements to our decentralized network’s stability and efficiency. The update optimizes how Chirp miners connect and communicate within the network, leading to smoother operations. One of the key highlights is a drastic reduction in data usage, cutting traffic from 3 GB per month in the previous version down to less than 600 MB. Alongside this, network connection stability has been enhanced, ensuring a more reliable and seamless experience for our users. These optimizations mean fewer disruptions and lower operational costs, especially for those managing multiple miners.
Enhanced User Board for Unified Management
The new User Board represents a significant leap forward in how users can manage their IoT devices, miners, $CHIRP rewards, and more — all from a single, streamlined interface. Whether you’re tracking the performance of your mining operations or monitoring connected IoT devices, the redesigned User Board makes managing your account on the Chirp platform easier than ever. This centralized hub simplifies workflows, allowing users to monitor and optimize assets in one place, while ensuring that key metrics and insights are readily accessible.
New Powerful Widgets for IoT Devices
At Chirp, we are constantly developing and improving our IoT capabilities. With this release, we’re proud to introduce new data widgets designed specifically for IoT devices that measure critical environmental metrics such as temperature, CO2 levels, and humidity. These widgets transform raw data into actionable insights and powerful analytics, helping users make smarter, data-driven decisions. From reducing energy costs in data centers to maintaining ideal conditions for crop growth, Chirp’s widgets offer invaluable tools for both businesses and individuals.
Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes
In addition to these major updates, we’ve made a series of minor enhancements to improve overall usability. The Mining Board is now more intuitive, making it easier to manage miners and rewards. We’ve also introduced small but effective improvements to the map’s centering function and search functionalities for device management.
We’ve also addressed a variety of bug fixes to ensure a smoother experience. These include resolving issues with miner payments, fixing login errors with Apple and Google accounts, and improving the sorting and display of reward counters, among many other updates.
