We are exited to introduce our new Claim functionality, which will become available a couple of days after the deployment of the upgraded CHIRP token smart contract. This new feature will allow our Keepers to decide when and how many CHIRP tokens they want to withdraw to their Sui wallets. The main reason for implementing the Claim functionality is to prepare for our future Staking mechanism, where users can choose whether to claim tokens to their wallets or stake them to receive additional rewards.
To ensure the availability of the Claim and future Staking features for our users, we had to modify and enhance our token smart contract. Alongside these main upgrades, we also made some minor security enhancements following the audit conducted by Zellic, which assessed our smart contract with the highest security level. The detailed report will be shared once it’s published on Zellic’s website.
These updates require extensive work on the backend and blockchain components. As we begin the deployment process today, we anticipate completing it in a few days. During this period, there may be some temporary instabilities, including a possible delay in the current Epoch rewards. We appreciate your patience as we work to implement these essential upgrades. Once the process is complete, the testnet and Chirp Epochs will be restarted to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Stay tuned for more updates. We will let you know as soon as both the new smart contract and Claim functionality are live. We are excited about these enhancements and believe they will significantly benefit our community.
Thank you for your continued support!
